Some keys updates in version 2.0 to look for:

1] MP3 support
2] Background Soundtrack option
3] New library with images and new skins
4] New events/actions
5] Pause zone for better slide by slide control
6] Flash 8 output
7] Improved speed and reliability, etc
8] Better embedded Flash support
9] Visual Timeline
10] Buttons that you can assign action/events
11] Improved start page with dynamic news pane
12] SCORM 2004 support
13] More control over the player bar and table of contents
14] Much Much More

If you have any questions, please ask!

Jay

We hope you

Jay,

How is VB5 and ViewletQuiz positioned?
I mean, would VB5 be considered a "superset" of ViewletQuiz?
Thanks

Khew,

ViewletQuiz was built so VB5 users have expanded quiz and and survey options.

Vquiz is also a great option for those who may not need screencapture but more of a tool to create slide by slide Flash content like PowerPoint.

So VQuiz has features that VB5 doesn't have? What I'm getting at is, would it be sufficient to have only VB5 and be able to do both VB5 and VQuiz capabilities?
Thanks!

VB5 and Quiz are totally different....one captures screenshots and cursors..the other is ONLY used for Quiz and Surveys. VB5 only has 1 multiple choice question available...VQuiz has

Short Answer – Fill in the Blank
Short Answer – Selection from List
Short Answer – Rating
Short Answer – Essay
Multiple Choice – Single Answer
Multiple Choice – Multiple Answer
Multiple Choice – Fill in the Blanks
Multiple Choice – Selection from Lists
Multiple Choice – Rating
Multiple Choice – True/False
Likert Scale

All of which can either be a survey or scored quiz with several more coming soon like Drag & Drop and Click Map

VB5 has basic event scoring options....

A good solution would be to have VB5 for creating all your simulations and tutorials and then embed them into a VQuiz project for questioning.

It really all depends on what you need.

I think this sums up the MAIN uses and differences of each product!
Thanks!

When VB6 is released, we will have a Pro and Enterprise version. The Enterprise version will have all the features of ViewletBuilder Pro + ViewletQuiz + PowerPoint import.
