ViewletBuilder8 offers Viewlet Authors a great tool to select the perfect color choices for their Viewlet projects. That's right, you can use the Color Sampling Tool to get exact color matches for your slide backgrounds, company logos, fonts, etc., so that your video's color scheme is enhanced and engages (instead of distracting) your viewers.

The Color Sampling Tool (also known as the Eye Dropper) allows you to 'sample' different colors from different visible areas on your screen. Once chosen by the eye dropper, the color can then be added to a custom palette for use immediately or at a later time. This allows the author total control over the color 'branding' used within their videos.

To get started using the color sampling tool:

  1. Select the slide or slide element (shape, text, etc.) that you want to add color to.
  2. Open the applicable Color dialog.
  3. Click on the 'eye dropper' tool to the right of the Color dialog.
  4. When the cursor changes to an eye dropper shape move your mouse over your screen. You will see a small preview of the color as it changes as you move your mouse along with its applicable RGB colors.
  5. Left click to select the desired color sample.
  6. Add the sampled color to your Custom Color palette (if desired).
  7. Click OK to accept/apply the sampled color to your slide/selected slide element.

Select it, sample it, color it, brand it. It's that easy and will definitely prove to be a great ROI, especially to empower your own brand recognition.

That's it for this blog.

Until next time...
Happy Viewleting!
