Testing, generally speaking, is finding out how well 'something' works, won't you agree? Realizing this, Composica provides authors with a wide-variety of tools to build learner-adaptive courses that can essentially evolve over time.

Composica assessment features include:

  • Activities (multiple choice, true/false, drag/drop, sort, matching, fill-in-the-blank, point/click, survey...)
  • Feedback elements (correct, partial, incorrect, custom...)
  • Testing folders (section/global features, randomization, scoring modes/weights, partial answers, timing...)

...just to name a few.

Integrating testing in a Composica course is fairly straightforward:

  1. In the Project Manager, create one or more test folders (depending on your needs).
  2. Select the Test folder, select the desired options for global/section testing.
  3. In the Test folder, one Section folder is created (by default). You can rename this folder based on your needs and insert additional section folders with the same Test folder.
  4. If applicable, select each Section folder and set 'section' testing options for each.
  5. Populate each Section folder with activity pages.

Effective testing design and implementation allows Composica educators to test learners to determine what level of knowledge or skill has been achieved--allowing courseware authors to 'tweak' training content to continually evolve and adapt to their learners.

That's it for this blog.

Until next time...
Happy Viewleting!
