Widgets - Reusable Document Page Templates (Composica)

Composica offers many different features to help content developers efficiently create their courseware. Among these is a tool that allows you to design a reusable document page template--a Widget--that can be used as a starting point again and again and again.
The best part is that you can create a Widget for almost any page design scenario. Start with a Widget for a simple page layout, customize a Widget for more intricate page elements with hot spots, etc. or standardize assessments and training content with Widgets for activity and/or test pages.
Create, use, reuse. The concept behind Widgets is simple but when used properly, becomes a very powerful thing indeed. Widgets can significantly reduce courseware production tasks, improving the bottom-line while helping content creators produce professional training courses with a standardized look (all starting from a Widget).

One final note. Unlike style rules (we'll cover these in a future post or two), any changes made to the 'original Widget' will NOT be reflected (on the pages that the Widget has already been used on) AFTER the Widget has been applied.
That's it for this blog.
Until next time...Happy Viewleting!
