Composica developers, check this out. Starting in Composica 8, you can restore not only media resources from prior versions, but also project document pages (and their resources) from prior revisions or from completely deleted pages. Following are some quick tips you can use to leverage these valuable tools while working on your own Composica courses.

How to Restore Media from Prior Revisions
  1. Open the Media Explorer within your course.
  2. Select a media file from one of the library folders.
  3. On the right side of the screen (below the preview area), you will see information about the selected media.
  4. Use the drop-down list to view prior revisions of the selected media file.
  5. Select a prior revision date and click the Restore button. This will restore the selected media file to the selected 'restore point' and replace all applicable files to that same revision though out the course.

How to Restore Deleted (Removed) Document Pages
  1. In the Project Manager, click the History icon along the Home ribbon.
  2. Under 'Removed Documents' (bottom left of screen), you will see a list of all document pages that were removed from the course. Select a document page.
  3. On the right side of the screen, click the Preview button to view the page in a browser.
  4. Click the Restore button to restore the document page. This will add the document page back to the course Outline Tree. At that point, any other prior revisions related to the restored document page will become available.

How to Restore a Prior Revision of a Document Page
  1. In the Project Manager, click the History icon along Home ribbon.
  2. Select one of the document pages or folders from the course Outline Tree.
  3. To the right of the screen, a list of the selected document page's prior revisions (if any) will display with date/user/description details. Select one of the revisions from the list.
  4. Click the Preview button to view the selected page in a browser.
  5. Click the Restore button to restore the document page to the selected revision date.
