An Inside ‘Take’ on All Things Viewlet

Are you using the latest and greatest Viewlet Authoring application (ViewletBuilder8 or ViewletQuiz5) to create your dynamic Viewlet eLearning assets? Not sure? Here's how you can find out.

  1. Open up your Viewlet Authoring application.
  2. Select Help > About... from the menu bar.
  3. In the dialog that displays, check out the version you are currently using and make a note of it.

Now, if you are using ViewletBuilder8 or ViewletQuiz5, make sure to:

  1. Select Help > Check for Updates... from the menu bar.
  2. In the dialog that displays, use one of the options to check for the latest update available for your Viewlet Authoring application. (Note: You can use this same step for prior versions, but will only be able to download updates within the version you have installed.)

Qarbon also offers upgrades to later versions or the most recent releases free of charge, in some cases, and at an affordable prices, in others. To see if you are eligible for a free product upgrade OR what your upgrade discounts might be, click the Upgrade Request Form to submit your information and request.

Once you have your authoring application upgrade version nailed down, it's time to consider your options for converting Viewlet projects in earlier versions for use/editing in the current release you are using. For information on converting Viewlet projects from earlier versions into ViewletBuilder8, click on one of the following links to view this topic in a format of your choice.

As you'll find, Qarbon offers Viewlet Authors flexible and fair upgrade options for its authoring applications as well as an easy and free process for converting older projects for use/editing within current releases. The next steps are up to you!

That's it for this blog.

Until next time...
Happy Viewleting!
