The Viewletin
An Inside ‘Take’ on All Things Viewlet
~by ViewletMarm

Viewlet Authors know the advantages Qarbon's Viewlet Authoring software (ViewletBuilder and ViewletQuiz) offer over the competition when developing interactive Flash demos and simulations. For example, since ViewletBuilder's inception, content developers have leveraged Qarbon's patented cursor technology, editing the elements that make up the cursor simulation, right in the source file. Powerful stuff here--still...has this ever happened to you?

You've completed your project edits, polished slide objects and tweaked cursor elements to their fullest. Your Viewlet even lets viewers follow along with the cursor movement via mouse click sounds. Yet, when you preview your Viewlet Flash demo with your trained eye, you get the nagging feeling something is missing. What could that be? What else could you add to your Viewlets to punch 'em up a notch without a lot of additional authoring work? Believe it or not, the answer is right in front of you.

In just a few easy steps, you can add visual mouse click cues (a.k.a. Mouse Click Animations) to your Viewlet, allowing the viewer to follow cursor click movements in your video (with or without sound).

Why not try it out? Both you and your viewers will SEE how the Viewlet viewing experience is enhanced--so simply but so very successfully.

Until next time...
Happy Viewleting!
