Protection against corruptions/compile problems

Postby James » Tue Oct 31, 2006 1:13 pm

1) Make sure you are using the latest version of VB4 Pro (4.57 or greater)
2) 256MB of memory minimum for small to average viewlets
512MB-1GB of memory for large viewlets (30MB Plus)
3) Work from a local drive instead of a network drive to compile (you can
move the file over after)
4) Close all other applications...sometimes even your anti-virus

There is also a way to increase your allocated memory if you have a really large Viewlet and you
are having trouble compiling it.
