Viewlet Quiz Pro

Postby Fremantle » Mon Oct 06, 2014 6:05 pm

I have just upgraded from V4 to V5.0.4 BUILD 1825

I think i have some features missing from V5, even though they are in the online help manual.

Missing Powerpoint Insert.

Missing EMBED SWF tick box in PROJECT - PROPERTIES - OPTIONS

I have screen captures if needed.

PowerPoint import is part of ViewletBuilder Enterprise not ViewletQuiz.

I'm not sure what the SWF issue is you are referring to.

The only reason i purchased the upgrade was so that i could finish a university assignment.

The downloadable manual entitled

vquiz5.0_userguide.pdf
page 56
ViewletQuiz5 Professional User Guide Page 56 © 2014 rev. 0626

states that you can import a powerpoint.

Is that an editing error or has the feature not been activated in the build?

This looks like an editing issue when building the ViewletQuiz user manual. We first create the ViewletBuilder Enterprise manual since this product has all features, then we edit that to make the ViewletBuilder Pro and ViewletQuiz Pro manuals.

The review the features for ViewletQuiz you would look at the Product Comparision chart or the product Page

The features discussed was Merge Slides - the reference to PowerPoint was just an example scenario of how it could be used. You can export images from PowerPoint and import them into ViewletQuiz

While internal build x1699 did include an update to the PowerPoint library it only applied to build x1699 of ViewletBuilder Enterprise. I will remove this from the release notes.
