Problem with VB4.5.5

Hello
I downloaded the Win VB 4.5.5 and installed over VB 4.5.1 No error messages during install.
Now VB won't start. No error message. The "busy" start icon flashes at the mouse pointer, briefly, then nothing - no error messages.
[VB 4.5.1] was working.
I've looked at the Processes and Applications tabs in Task Manager, no indication of VB running.
My system is WinXP Pro with all updates. I installed as Administrator.
I am a paid user of VB.
I would be very grateful for advice

Hello,

The latest version is 4.5.11, you can try installing that version instead. You can access this version here:
