OpenType fonts don't show up in fonts list

Postby rpalomo » Thu Oct 22, 2009 3:25 am

I'm redoing all of company's Viewlets to implement new corporate visual design standards. The visual designer has specified and provided the HelveticaNeueLTPr.otf fonts. After installing the fonts, they work fine in e.g. Photoshop, MS Paint, MS Word, etc. But they don't show up in the fonts list in VB6 even after restarting both Windows and VB.

How can I get VB to recognize these fonts :?:

Hello,

Did you scroll to the bottom of the list and click the Show All Fonts?

Yes, I checked that. The Show All Fonts option is enabled.

It seems that Java does not support some OpenType fonts. Your best bet might be to use a font editor to convert the font to TrueType.

OpenType fonts will be supported in ViewletBuilder8.
