How do I resize an swf?

Postby Eeyore » Mon Apr 06, 2009 11:58 pm

Hi,

Can an swf published by ViewletCam be resized? If yes, how do I do it? Thanks.

Regards.

Eeyore,

Across the top menu there is an option called TOOLS.

Within that menu you have Crop Movie, Canvas Size, and Movie Size.

All of these will impact your output.

Hi James,

Thanks for your prompt reply!

I should have described my problem clearly. :) The solution given will fix the movie to a certain size which I'm not keen.
My issue is that the swf is not scalable. Can I tweak the html such that the swf is able to scale according to the browser window? If yes, please advise how to do it?

Thanks!

Hi,

We looked into this and the best way would be use the Resize project option to make your project display smaller. We found that the Scale option
inside the SWF was set to off, so you can't update the browser code for height and width to 100%/100% like you can in projects created in ViewletBuilder/ViewletQuiz.

I asked the developers about this to see if we can update the output to allow this.

Build 176 of ViewletCam2 now supports scaling of the SWF file.

You can download the file here: http://www.qarbon.com/ftp/download/viewletcam2_x176.exe
