Sound Recording

Postby Gabby1219 » Thu Aug 07, 2008 8:32 am

Can I use a text to sound software to record what I write in the text boxes and then add this to the viewlet cam? We would like to be able to make changes to the viewlet cam and not have to worry about having different voices doing the voiceovers a year or so down the road. If we can, how would we accomplish this? I am a very novice user so I need lots of help.

Gabby,

You can easily do this in ViewletBuilder6 since you can attach sounds to balloons and notes, but I do not think ViewletCam support this.

I am not sure what you are after when you say ...Can I use a text to sound software to record what I write in the text boxes ...ViewletCam adds sounds to frames and not balloons and text boxes. You can easily add new sound recordings to an old vcp project by importing the sound file and synchronizing the streaming. Here is a link to a tutorial describing the process.

Thanks. Tim, I think that might work since each frame can have it's own sound attached. This way if something in our software is changed, all we have to do is change one frame and one sound file.
