No viewletcam control bar in trial

Postby Sputman » Fri Jul 28, 2006 1:50 am

I am evaluating Viewletcam for our university, when I create a viewlet there is no control bar present. Is this a limitation of the trial?

Alias uses Viewletcam to demonstrate Maya, they have a really cool play bar - how can i achieve this, or is this a default?

No viewletCam player bar in trial

Sputman,

I just received additional information regarding your "player bar" issue. if you are referring to the player bar when appearing when publishing to swf, we recently found there may be an error in the current version 171 (0030) which eliminates this player bar. Please download version 171 (0033) using this link to the standalone installer and the player bar in the swf file should then be there.

I have the control bar showing now, it seems the swf is cropped all round, unlike the player bars Alias uses. How can i stop this cropping from happening?

Sputman,

Make sure you are using the latest version 171 (0033) here is the link to the installer.

However, I am not aware of any of our 3 player bars having a cropped area around them. Can you provide a screen shot of what you are seeing?

The latest version is better, I like control bar three but it seems cropped of in the first place - how can I go about making one myself. Is there an option? I would also like to know how I can change the default background colours to make choosing a favourite colour easier ?

Sputman,

Sorry but the 3 options is all viewletCam supplies. As far as colors, you can double click a slide and a "Properties" option will appear. in this option there is a option called, background colors. This provides an option to change the colors.
