ViewletQuiz / ViewletCentral

Postby PKPS » Thu Dec 20, 2007 1:04 am

I am contructing a sample survey to see how ViewletCentral processes and outputs the results into CSV files.

http://www.viewletcentral.com/vc/viewlet/823710827/

I found this unsual result, and i am not sure how it happened. Me or the software.

I completed the survey twice.

In the answer column of the question in VIEWLETCENTRAL, there is a double entry for an answer (C,C) even though it is impossible to click this twice for a MULTIPLE CHOICE - SINGLE ANSWER survey Question.

This double entry is also repeated in the downloadable CSV file for all the answers to this question.

I have a PDF file that visually explains what the problem is.

Hello!

This problem is caused by a known issue in the ViewletQuiz, which causes the last answer of a MULTIPLE CHOICE - SINGLE ANSWER slide to be reported twice. Only the last answer is affected.

The fix has already been finished and tested, and will be available in the new release of ViewletQuiz 2.0.12, which should be released later today. Please install the update from the Qarbon download page when it's available (http://www.qarbon.com/download)

You will need to open your Viewlet, and re-publish to ViewletCentral once you have updated to the new version.
