Validating text input format

Postby rick2428 » Mon Dec 07, 2009 12:27 pm

Hello,

Is there a way to validate text input into a field? We have an alpha-numeric code system that is something AAA 1234 - it is a system that allows us to identify one of potentially thousands of people logging into the system.

Also - is there a way to then check that input against an external database to pull up the name associated with that code?

Alternatively, if we had another way of validating the code and pulling up the name, is there a way to pass that info to the first field in a question within ViewletQuiz?

Rick,

You asked:

I checked with support and all of these are NO currently.

James
