ADP CSG Training Development is using Viewlets to provide just-in-time training on new products to over 20,000 clients.
With a client base of more than 20,000 customers in the property and casualty insurance, automotive recycling, and collision repair industries, ADP Claims Services Group Training Development is constantly striving to develop materials that are relevant, and available “just-in-time.”
Recently, in conjunction with the launch of several new web-based products, ADP has integrated Viewlets, animated online tutorials created with Qarbon's ViewletBuilder, into the training environment.
"Viewlets work!”, says Tracy Peterson, Director of Training Services at ADP Claims Services Group, “They're easy to produce, visually interesting and most importantly, provide effective training for our clients.”

The Viewlets are available to the user as part of the web-based application through a “Show Me” link and serve as an adjunct to the online Help system. If a client is using a particular feature or function and wants to know, “how do I use this?” they can click the Show Me link and a Viewlet for that topic will open and run.
The Viewlets are designed to cover the most common or required steps in performing the function and run from 30 seconds to 3 minutes in length. According to Tracy Peterson, the response to the Viewlets has been extremely favorable from both Product Development and client levels. “The use of Viewlets has now become one of the foremost training development tools in our arsenal.” |
